On May 15 between 8:15 a.m. and 1:55 p.m., each member of the DVCS Class of 2023 will defend an original thesis statement on a topic of his or her choice in front of a panel of judges. This annual tradition at DVCS is a consummation of what students have learned during their time at the school. Throughout the school year, students research their topics, develop their arguments, and practice to present in a winning manner. The 2021-22 Titan Sports Awards Night was held May 16. Student athletes on middle school and varsity teams were recognized for their hard work during the fall, winter, and spring sports seasons at DVCS, and special awards were given by coaches and the Athletic Department.
